Chemokine receptor 4, also known as fusin and is the natural receptor for stromal-derived-factor-1 (SDF-1). SDF-1 is also involved in chemotactic movement of cells to points of immune activity and inflammation. It is one of two co-receptors on T cells that HIV can use along with the CD4 receptor to bind to and infect cells.
